Black Magic & Witches

How People Get What They Want Using Black Magic

Magic is the practice of performing rituals that incorporate language, gestures, actions, and symbols as a way to influence the outcome of events or bring about change in someone or something. The earliest cultures known to mankind believed in the power of magical rituals and many modern cultures adhere to that belief today. One of the biggest debates involving this topic is whether there are actually such things as white and black magic.

Many people that all magical spells are created equal and all witchcraft is the same. Still, there is a tendency to put magical spells into one of two categories. People who do this believe that white witchcraft involves spells intended to heal or bring happiness or prosperity. Black witchcraft, on the other hand, involves spells that are meant to harm others or influence them to do things against their will.

Two spells can be cast to achieve the same desired outcome, but the intent behind them may be very different. For example, love spells are cast to help people find their true love. Love spells that request more attractive physical or social qualities to attract someone else are white witchcraft spells. Love spells that bind a specific person to someone else against his or her will are black witchcraft spells.

Other such spells would be those that express a desire for someone to experience harm. The harm may be physical or psychological. Whether or not a witch decides to practice black witchcraft is a personal preference. Some believe it is never OK. Others believe that drastic times may call for drastic measures.

Many people use the terms voodoo and black witchcraft interchangeable but they actually have nothing to do with each other even though their rituals share some similarities. Voodoo is an African religion and the word means spirit. Voodoo first arrived in the United States with West African slaves during the early 1700s. Practitioners made and wore amulets and charms for the purposes of healing, protecting, and bringing harm to others.

Many people automatically associate voodoo with dark magic practices. As with witchcraft, voodoo spells can be cast and rituals can be performed with either good or bad intentions. It is up to the practitioner to decide how to proceed.

Many practitioners of magic believe their actions will always trigger karmic reactions. This is why so many modern witches choose not to dabble in the dark arts. They believe that casting a spell that harms another will cause that harm to come back on them and many believe the payback will be threefold. That is incentive enough to make some individuals want to tread lightly.

Believers will always practice magic with faith in the fact that their actions are guiding the outcome of an event or situation. Non-believers, on the other hand, will continue to be skeptical. Manipulating supernatural powers is a wish many people would love to have granted. Some people believe man already has the power but just needs to learn how to use it.

Romanian Witches Protest Taxes With Spells & Hexes

whatever is going down in Romania, and it be no longer first rate. americans who claim the occupation of witch, astrologer and fortune teller will must pay taxes for the primary time, ever. Many aren’t satisfied.

based on the AP, a few dozen witches are planning on getting together and tossing the poisonous mandrake plant into the Danube river to place a hex on government officials “so evil will befall them.”

Pictured above is Bratara Buzea, sixty three, who was imprisoned for witchcraft beneath communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu’s regime. She’s livid. And the AP definitely takes take pleasure in portray her as a Halloween-variety witch.

Sitting cross-legged in her villa within the lake lodge of Mogosoaia, simply north of Bucharest, she observed Wednesday she deliberate to cast a spell the usage of a very advantageous concoction of cat excrement and a lifeless dog, along with a chorus of witches.

“We do hurt to people who damage us,” she said. “They need to take the country out of this crisis the use of us? They should get us out of the crisis as a result of they introduced us into it.”

“My curses all the time work!” she cackled in a smoky voice. She sat subsequent to her timber-burning range, surrounded with the aid of potions, charms, holy water and ceramic pots.

Cackled? ok. certain. but it’s interesting that an ancient occupation — healer, finder of misplaced issues, spell-caster and hex-hurler, is now a valid career, discipline to profits tax like any one else. perhaps it’s most effective fair, in a method, however doesn’t it take one of the magic, one of the most secret and, heck, enjoyable out of it? “Occult” capability hidden, in spite of everything.

What It Means To Be a Witch

The entertainment industry had a lot to do with defining stereotypical witches. They were usually depicted as old hags who hung around with black cats and flew around on broomsticks. As with most stereotypes, a real witch is nothing like what you see on the big screen or read about in fairy tales.

For one thing, witches come in all sizes and colors as well as both genders. They come from countries all around the world and may come from any socioeconomic background. If there is one thing you can count on, you are unlikely to be able to identify witches based strictly on appearance.

Witchcraft is a religion based on paganism but it has evolved over the centuries to mean many things to many people. It has no central authority figure so practitioners are free to create their own belief system, often borrowed from multiple traditions. Wicca is a specific type of witchcraft even though many people apply it to the practice in general. People who practice call themselves Wiccans or Witches.

Wicca is a duo theistic faith, meaning that followers worship two deities. The moon represents the Goddess. Celebrations worshipping the Goddess are called esbats and take place in conjunction with various moon cycles. The sun represents the Horned God. Celebrations honoring this deity are called sabbats and take place in conjunction with sun cycles.

Witches stay in close contact with nature and celebrate moon and sun cycles. Many practice herbal medicine or use crystals for healing. Some, but not all, perform ritualistic magic at various times throughout the year in celebration of the changing of the seasons.

The entertainment industry is also largely to thank for the concept of dividing witchcraft practices into white magic and black magic. The general idea is that any magic intended to do good is white magic, while any magic intended to do harm is black magic. That is a simplistic way to look at it because any magic spell designed to bring about a favorable outcome for one individual may inadvertently result in an unfavorable outcome for someone else.

Classic examples of white witchcraft include spells for healing, attracting wealth, or improving fertility. Examples of black witchcraft would be hexes or curses that wish evil or hard times to fall upon another. Most witches avoid dabbling in the dark arts, as black witchcraft is sometimes called, because they believe any energy they put into the universe will come back at them threefold. That means good and bad energy.

A coven is any group of witches who get together informally to practice their religion. Traditionally a coven consisted of 13 members. Some groups still observe that tradition but there are other many other covens that have fewer than 13 or more than 13 members. Many witches prefer to be solitary practitioners and do not belong to a coven.

There are many different types of witches, including kitchen witches who are less focused on religion and more focused on magic. Most of them cast spells that address everyday life and practical issues having to do with creating a happy and healthy home life. Many of them utilize herbs and crafts in their spells.

Hereditary witches learn witchcraft from previous generations. Members of their family pass along the traditions to other members of the family who express an interest in it and make a conscious decision to accept the Craft. People may be born into families of witches but they are not themselves born witches.

Hedge witches are similar to shamans in other spiritual groups. These individuals are often skilled healers and many practice midwifery. They believe they can journey to the Otherworld by engaging in spirit flight. The hedge is symbolic of the boundary that separates the spiritual real from the physical world.

Augury witches also share similarities with shamans. They help travelers on spiritual quests by interpreting any signs encountered along the way. In ancient Roman times, augurs interpreted omens to determine if the gods approved of proposed actions. Augurs would often base their interpretations on the appearance of animals that were sacred to specific gods. Augury witches do not foretell the future. Instead, they predict the future based on symbolism.

If there is one thing that sets witches apart from other groups, it’s the fact that they cannot be described with any kind of one-size-fits-all definition. There are so many different types of witches because witchcraft is such an individualized practice. With no clear path to follow, individuals are free to explore all options and go with what feels right to them.

Learn More About What A Witch Is And Does

There are many misconceptions about witches. Many people rely on what they read in books or see in the movies, only adding to the confusion. In the most general sense, a witch is anyone who believes in or practices magical skills, or witchcraft.

Many people automatically assume that witches worship Satan. This is one of the most common myths. Witches do not automatically belong to any particular faith. Wicca is a neopagan religion that is often associated with witches. People of the Wiccan faith do not believe in Satan. They believe in the Goddess and the Horned God, which are respectively associated with the moon and the sun. Some Wiccans do participate in magic rituals but not all Wiccans are witches and not all witches are Wiccan.

The concept that there are white witches and black witches is also a controversial topic. Some people believe that all witchcraft is the same, but as with any other practice, it can be used with good intentions or bad intentions. Modern society prefers to put labels on everything so the idea that someone must be either a black witch or a white witch has become a popular one.

For those that insist on using these labels, the main difference between the two is the intention behind the magic performed. A white witch is someone who uses witchcraft to bring about positive consequences. A black witch is someone who uses witchcraft to manifest negative consequences.

White witches use spells to better themselves or to help others, but only when someone asks them to do so. They do not believe in using magic to influence others without their consent. They may perform magic to encourage fertility, heal illness, or attract abundance in times of need. The whole idea behind white witchcraft is to bring health, love, wealth, happiness, and joy into the life of the practitioner or into the lives of other people.

Black witches, on the other hand, use witchcraft to bring misfortune and harm to others. They may attempt to exert their own will over other people. In some cases, they attempt to influence other people to do things against their own will.

There are also many types of witches who are categorized by the type of witchcraft they practice or the gifts they possess. Augury witches possess the gift of prophecy. They interpret symbols and signs for someone who is on a spiritual quest. Green witches focus their attention on achieving magic by communing with Mother Nature and using natural items to draw on nature’s energy. Cottage witches are sometimes called kitchen witches and work with nature’s energies to make the home a sacred and safe place.

Witchcraft goes beyond black and white. It even goes beyond right and wrong. Witches set their own goals and decide what they want to achieve when performing magical spells. Most use a variety of symbolic tools they believe to have spiritual powers. These include the bell, the athame, the broom, the cauldron, and the chalice.
